The latest industry insights & news from CCSI, Specialists in Establishing Contact Centers in Mexico for Debt Collection, Customer Service, Sales, BPO and more.
In March 2017, Call Center Services International (CCSI) had an important reason to celebrate: our staff and clients helped us reach our 9-year milestone. Nine years earlier, CCSI was founded with the vision of providing U.S. companies with a cost-effective nearshore Contact & Support Center solution in Baja California, Mexico, supported by a talented workforce focused on performance and customer satisfaction.
At the end of CCSI's first year in 2008, the company had 3 clients and 50 agents.
By the time CCSI celebrated its 9th anniversary in 2017, the company had grown to 16 clients and more than 700 employees.
Clients had turned to CCSI's experience establishing contact centers in Mexico, supported by a commitment to performance-driven results, agent development, operational support, and continuous process improvement.
CCSI's growth during its first nine years reflected the trust of its clients and the commitment of the employees who helped build and support their nearshore operations.
That nearshore model continues to be based on the advantages of operating in Mexico, including workforce availability, bilingual talent, proximity to the United States, professional infrastructure, and management accessibility. The company's growth during those first nine years also allowed CCSI to expand into additional contact center facilities in Mexico.
In 2013, CCSI opened its Plaza Agua Caliente center in one of Tijuana's iconic buildings. The facility provided professional contact center space and technology infrastructure in a strategic downtown location.
Plaza Agua Caliente remains part of CCSI's current network of contact center facilities in Mexico.
In 2014, CCSI expanded beyond Baja California by opening a fully equipped contact center in Mexico City, creating additional capacity and access to another major bilingual workforce market.

The expansion into Mexico City represented an important step in CCSI's development from a Baja California operation into a broader multi-location nearshore contact center provider.
In 2016, CCSI opened its Otay Contact Center at Tijuana's International Business Park. The original announcement described the new facility as an 85,000-square-foot building designed to support continued growth and additional client operations.

The Otay Center remains part of CCSI's Tijuana facility network and today is presented as an 85,000-square-foot contact center with significant scalable capacity.

None of this growth would have been possible without CCSI's call center agents, support staff, supervisors, and administrative teams who worked every day to help clients succeed with their Mexico contact center operations.
The company's growth was supported not only by new facilities and technology, but by employees who developed their skills, supported client programs, and helped build long-term operational relationships.
Thank you to all our hardworking and dedicated employees and administrative staff who helped us build a world-class Contact & Support Center focused on success and client satisfaction.
Employee development continues to play an important role in CCSI's company culture, with an emphasis on training, professional growth, leadership development, and promoting talent from within.
At the time of the 9-year anniversary, CCSI described its vision as striving each day to become the world's best value-based contact center for North American companies seeking a nearshore solution for their business needs.
That vision was built around several principles that had guided the company's growth since 2008:
CCSI's current nearshore model continues to emphasize many of those same advantages, including bilingual workforce access, professional infrastructure, proximity, cultural alignment, and close integration with client operations.
A special thank you to our clients for giving us your trust and confidence and allowing CCSI to serve as your nearshore partner.
