CCSI was happy to announce the opening of a new facility in Baja California. Call Center Services International had experienced fast growth during the previous years. In 2018 alone, CCSI closed 12 new clients — companies looking to expand their operations into Mexico. At the same time, existing clients were also growing their nearshore operations.
That growth was driven by the strong performance clients were achieving with their Mexico teams and the cost-saving opportunities available through a nearshore operating model.
To support that continued expansion, CCSI announced a new facility at Tijuana's Business Innovation and Technology Center, commonly known as the BIT Center.
The new CCSI space was planned as a 20,000-square-foot facility in Tijuana's financial district, within a business center focused on software, IT, communications, and technology companies.
CCSI expected to begin operations at the new center by May 2019, with capacity for approximately 300 seats.
The additional facility represented CCSI's ability to continue creating capacity for U.S. companies seeking to establish nearshore contact center operations in Mexico.
It also created additional room for existing CCSI clients to expand their teams as their Mexico operations continued to grow.
Tijuana has remained an important nearshore market because of its proximity to Southern California, access to bilingual and bicultural talent, technology infrastructure, and close alignment with U.S.-based operations.
The BIT Center announcement was another step in CCSI's continued expansion in Baja California. Over the years, the company developed multiple contact center operations in Tijuana to support growing U.S. client programs and provide additional capacity for new nearshore projects.
Today, Tijuana continues to be one of CCSI's strategic nearshore contact center markets, alongside Mexico City and Guadalajara.
Call Center Services International (CCSI) helps U.S. organizations establish and manage high-performance nearshore contact center operations in Mexico.
CCSI combines professional bilingual and bicultural agents with recruiting, Human Resources, continuous training, Workforce Management, technology infrastructure, professional contact center facilities, and operational support.
CCSI currently supports operations across Tijuana, Mexico City, and Guadalajara.
