The RMA International Annual Conference brought together professionals from across the receivables management industry for education, networking, industry discussions, and business development.

CCSI announced its participation in the 2024 conference as part of its continued involvement with the Debt Collection and Financial Services industries and its focus on helping U.S. organizations evaluate Nearshore Debt Collection operations in Mexico.

Educational Panel: Problems Hiring and Retaining Employees?

During the conference, CCSI announced its participation in the educational panel:

“Problems Hiring and Retaining Employees? Consider Nearshore/Offshore Solutions”

The session was scheduled for Wednesday, February 7, 2024, from 4:00–5:00 PM in Juniper 1 at ARIA Resort & Casino.

The panel was designed to examine considerations involved in deciding who, what, and where when establishing Nearshore or offshore Contact Center operations. The announced discussion included the advantages and disadvantages of the different outsourcing models as well as considerations surrounding how those operations can be structured.

The subject was particularly relevant to receivables management organizations facing challenges related to recruiting, employee retention, workforce capacity, operating costs, and access to experienced collection professionals.

Nearshore Debt Collection in Mexico

At the time of the 2024 conference announcement, CCSI brought more than 15 years of operational experience supporting Debt Collection and Financial Services organizations through Nearshore operations in Mexico.

The Nearshore model provides organizations with access to professional bilingual and bicultural agents while allowing U.S.-based teams to remain closely involved in workflows, technology platforms, reporting, training, and performance objectives.

For Debt Collection operations, workforce capacity can be particularly important. Expanding the number of qualified collection professionals may allow organizations to work more accounts, increase coverage, and provide additional resources to their recovery programs.

CCSI's current Nearshore Debt Collection services support first- and third-party collections, legal and non-legal collections, medical and healthcare collections, financial services, commercial and consumer credit collections, Quality Assurance and Compliance, and other receivables management functions.

CCSI also continues to emphasize bilingual collection professionals, FDCPA compliance, PCI DSS requirements, operational control, and cost efficiency as important components of its Debt Collection model.
