New Center in Guadalajara: How CCSI is Expanding its Call Center Services in Mexico

In August 2023, Call Center Services International (CCSI) announced the opening of a new Contact Center in Guadalajara, Mexico, marking an important milestone in the company's expansion across Nearshore Mexico. The Guadalajara operation added another strategic location for U.S. organizations seeking access to bilingual talent, modern infrastructure, geographic proximity, and the cost advantages of operating in Mexico.

CCSI Opens a New Contact Center in Guadalajara

The opening of the Guadalajara center expanded CCSI's network of Contact Center facilities in Mexico and strengthened the company's ability to support U.S. organizations from multiple strategic locations.

The facility was established with modern Contact Center technology and infrastructure in Guadalajara's business district, with convenient access to the International Airport and nearby hotels for visiting client teams.

Through the Guadalajara operation, CCSI expanded its ability to provide a wide range of Contact Center and BPO services, including inbound and outbound Customer Service, Debt Collection, Loan Servicing, Technical Support, Sales, and other customer-facing and back-office functions.

The operation also provides access to CCSI's professional bilingual and bicultural workforce, supporting organizations that require English- and Spanish-language capabilities for North American customers.

Advantages of Establishing a Contact Center in Guadalajara

Guadalajara offers several characteristics that make the region attractive for U.S. organizations evaluating Nearshore Contact Center expansion. The original 2023 announcement highlighted four principal advantages:

  • Access to a Large Workforce Pool: Guadalajara is the capital of Jalisco, one of Mexico's most populous states. The region provides access to a large, young workforce and a growing pool of bilingual professionals supporting international business operations.

  • Connectivity with the United States: Guadalajara offers strong air connectivity with major U.S. cities, making it practical for client teams to visit their Nearshore operation, conduct training, meet employees, and participate in operational reviews.

  • Business-Hour Alignment: Guadalajara is located in Mexico's Central Time Zone (UTC−6). Although the exact difference with U.S. cities can vary during the year because most of Mexico no longer observes seasonal Daylight Saving Time, Guadalajara maintains substantial overlap with normal U.S. business hours, facilitating real-time communication and collaboration.

  • Cost-Saving Opportunity: Mexico can provide significant labor and operating cost advantages compared with equivalent U.S.-based Contact Center operations. The actual savings depend on workforce requirements, services, technology, facility needs, and the operating model selected.

Guadalajara Continues to Grow as a CCSI Nearshore Location

The center announced in 2023 became part of CCSI's long-term Nearshore presence in Guadalajara. The city remains one of CCSI's three strategic Contact Center markets in Mexico, together with Tijuana and Mexico City.

CCSI's current Guadalajara Country Club facility provides more than 500 seats with scalable capacity, modern Contact Center infrastructure, redundant Internet connectivity, controlled access, 24-hour security, training and conference areas, and convenient access to Guadalajara International Airport and nearby hotels.

The operation continued expanding after the original announcement. In October 2025, CCSI celebrated the inauguration of an additional floor in Guadalajara, representing another stage in the growth of the location and its Nearshore workforce.
