International Business Students from PLNU Visit CCSI Otay Center

On October 19, a group of International Business students from Point Loma Nazarene University visited Call Center Services International Otay Center to learn about the company business model, the Nearshore benefits and the opportunities of the region.

The students had a brief introduction about CCSI, followed by a tour of the facility and ended with a Q&A session.

The 30 university students came to CCSI Otay Center, Ismael Moreno, Marketing Director for CCSI, gave some welcome words and explained to the students what the principal Nearshore benefits are, such as proximity to the U.S., abundant recruitment pool of bilingual and bicultural agents and the infrastructure we offer. Ismael Moreno delivered a talk about what makes CCSI distinguish from other contact centers of the region, emphasizing in our years of expertise.


After the introduction, the international business students went on a tour of the facilities guided by Sal Ramirez and Gabriel Zermeño, Business Development Executives for CCSI, they visited some of its operations areas, learned about the different processes it manages such as debt collection, appointment setting and loan servicing.


At the end of the visit, the students participated with Gustavo Leon, General Director for CCSI, Sal Ramirez and Gabriel Zermeño in a Q&A session, the students were motivated asking many questions about Nearshore, the processes, the challenges of the region, etc. and were excited about the opportunities the region offers to U.S. business.
